THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE MAKING YOUR PURCHASE:
- Embossing Height: The seal is set to be used with high-weight papers, like those indicated in the reference link: Recycled Handmade Paper Labels.
- Recommended Paper Types:
- It can be applied to various types of paper, but we recommend using papers with moisture absorption, fluffy, and not too compact. These papers allow the use of a water spray to soften them, making it easier to apply manual pressure and achieve more notable results.
- For other paper types, the embossing will be more subtle, and the results might not be optimal. Examples include cardstock with coatings, which requires more pressure to emboss.
- For thinner papers, like tissue or Canson papers under 120 gr, pressure should be moderated to avoid tearing the paper.
- We do not recommend kraft papers heavier than 80 gr, as they tend to be stiffer and require more force and pressure for proper embossing. In these cases, the seal may not perform well.
Can be applied to other materials:
- The seal can also be applied to other materials such as e-commerce bags, polypropylene bags, biodegradable bags, and certain fabrics (such as dyed canvas, depending on the fabric). Results will vary depending on the design and material used, so we cannot guarantee an identical outcome as shown on the website or social media.
- If applying to fabric, it will be necessary to add stiffness to prevent the embossing from flattening (for example, by applying sizing).
Artisanal and Manual Process:
- This is an artisanal and manual process, so results may vary from one application to another and depending on the material used.
- Feel free to experiment with different materials!
Care Instructions:
- Easy to use and clean.
- Hand washable with cold or lukewarm water. DOES NOT WITHSTAND HIGH TEMPERATURES.
